Audio Visual Communications Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “AVC”) recognizes that the protection of personal information is an important social responsibility and an essential factor in the conduct of business in order to ensure public trust. As such, AVC makes every effort to ensure that customers’ personal information is properly used and protected and that the Personal Information Protection Law of Japan and other related laws and regulations are strictly observed.

1. Proper Acquisition
AVC will acquire personal information that is necessary to conduct its business by proper and lawful means.
2. Purpose of Use
AVC will specify the purpose of use of personal information and will not use it beyond the specified purpose.
3. Handling of Personal Information
AVC will establish internal rules to implement necessary and appropriate protection of personal information. AVC will properly supervise employees for handling personal information.
4. Limitation on Providing Personal Information to a Third Party
AVC will not provide personal information to any third party unless the individual concerned has agreed to such use, except in the following cases:
1) Cases in which the provision of personal information is based on laws.
2) Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary in order to achieve the purpose of use to a third party.
3) Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
5. Outsourcing of Handling of Personal Information
In the event the handling of personal information is entrusted based on the above Section 4, item 2), AVC will conduct the necessary and appropriate supervision of such a third party under a contract to maintain confidentiality.
6. Security Measures
AVC will continuously improve the management of personal information to protect personal information against being divulged, lost, and falsified.
7. Disclosure of Personal Information
When a request is received from customers regarding disclosure and amendment of the use of personal information, AVC will endeavor to properly and promptly cope with such request after confirming the identity.
8. Continuous Improvement
AVC will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law of Japan and other related laws and regulations and will continuously review this Privacy Policy according to the changes in society and improve the management of personal information.
